Yacht Skipper, Tradewind 35’ yacht, based Gosport, PO12 2AB.

 

We are currently seeking to appoint a Yacht Skipper for one of our Tradewind 35’ sail training yacht based in Gosport, from May 2012. TS City Liveryman undertakes 6 day voyages for 5 Cadets and 1 adult (plus Skipper).
 
Applicants should have the requisite experience, (minimum qualification Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial endorsement). The ability to lead and manage a team and work effectively with young people is essential.
 
The successful applicant will be required to become/remain a uniformed member of the Sea Cadet Corps and will be responsible to the Offshore Commander.
 
There is a generous annual leave allowance and the salary for the role will be disclosed on application. Employees are eligible to join the employer’s voluntary contributory pension scheme (5% employee, 10% employer), and the organisation’s Private Medical Insurance scheme.
